Advice for aspiring politicians

An Asian woman refugee from Hong Kong who arrived in Australia in 1979 and who grew up in Cabramatta is the latest candidate to stand for the Sydney seat as an Independent in the up-coming NSW state elections.

Dai Le has been a local Fairfield councillor since 2012.

Cabramatta has been considered a safe Labor seat, but Dai Le is determined that she will put her name out in the public, build her profile, drive the campaign and hopefully up-end this Labor safe seat.

Dai Le has spoken of the interesting journey she has experienced navigating through the political process. This aspiring politician has said this was an enabling experience which has made her a stronger person against the tactics of aggressive behaviour.
