Rewine-d with Rosa

WR Law is partnering with local food and beverage businesses to boost lockdown recovery.

On friday 26 june rewine-d with rosa was broadcast live from the golden vine hotel bendigo. rosa was joined by treasury wine estate’s mick johnstone (L) and publican kevin skone (C).

WR Law is taking an innovative approach to raising the profile of employment law and at the same time boosting the region’s food and beverage sector as local businesses re-emerge from the pandemic lockdown.

Rewine-d with Rosa is a fortnightly opportunity to sit down (with a glass of wine) and unpack the latest employment law news and developments in this rapidly changing arena.

Rosa says, “this informal fortnightly event is ideal for HR and office managers, fellow lawyers and business owners, or of course anyone interested in employment law.”

“You only have to look at some of the recent initiatives and cases – JobSeeker, JobKeeper, the High Court decision to recognise entitlements for casual employees, and the new Victorian legislation criminalising ‘wage theft’ – to realise that employment law is a dynamic and ever changing area of law and most people don’t have time to keep up. Rewine-d with Rosa is an accessible way for people to keep up-to-date with important employment law developments.”

“Local businesses are doing it tough and many are trading at a fraction of their turnover 12 months ago, so we are proud to feature a different business each fortnight and promote what they have to offer,” says Rosa.

The first two businesses to feature on ‘Rewine-d with Rosa’ are:

  • Golden Vine Hotel in King St, Bendigo on Friday 26 June at 4pm,
  • Killiecrankie Winery on Soldier Settlement Road, Ravenswood on Friday 10 July at 4pm.

Join us at 4pm each Friday fortnight from 26 June 2020. Cheese optional, wine – strongly encouraged!
